Hello Friends,

Eighteen Years of Evolution — and We’re Just Getting Started

When Altogether Marketing was launched in 2007, we were branding with printed brochures and navigating websites like digital billboards. Social media was the new kid on the block, and AI sounded like something out of a sci-fi movie. (I love scifi.) Fast forward to today, and we’re not just part of the digital marketing revolution we’re helping to lead it.

This month, we’re celebrating 18 years in business. That’s nearly two decades of pivots, progress, partnerships and purpose-driven storytelling. From launching award-winning shows and education platforms to helping clients navigate branding in an AI-powered world, our journey reflects the ever-changing digital landscape and the timeless truths of marketing done well.

In this issue:

▪ Take a ride through our 18-year timeline of digital milestones and media innovation.
▪ Tune in to Business Chop featuring Dr. Tamar Lawful, as we explore DNA-driven wellness strategies for busy entrepreneurs.
▪ Discover new tools and certifications available through the Altogether Learning Academy.
▪ And yes — it’s time to refresh that branded swag. We’ve got you covered.

Then & Now: A Look Back at 18 Years of Digital Marketing and Our Milestones Along the Way

When we launched, Facebook was still in its infancy, smartphones weren’t mainstream, and SEO was just finding its legs. From logos to livestreams, from printed brochures to digital academies — our evolution mirrors the fast-paced transformation of the marketing world itself.

Here's how far we’ve come:

2007 – Altogether Marketing LLC is founded, offering branding, marketing, and consulting services.

2007 – Websites were static, social media was just emerging, and SEO was the wild west.

2010 – Facebook became a serious business tool. Email marketing matured.

2010 – Our first course idea was conceived, but still to be born.

2011 – We launch our first (award-winning) web TV show, MakeSomethingHappen.tv inspiring entrepreneurs and changemakers.

2012 – Mobile responsiveness became essential. Smartphones changed how we browse and buy.

2013 – We debut The Audrey Wiggins Show, highlighting leaders and legacy-makers.

2014 – Visual storytelling exploded. Instagram and YouTube reshaped consumer expectations. Social media marketing matures. Visual branding and video become central to digital success. Mobile-first became the new standard. Video content surged. Personal branding took center stage.

2016 – Live streaming, influencer marketing, and automation tools entered the mainstream.

2018 – Voice search, chatbots, and micro-moments guided marketing strategy.

2018 – We create the MWMG.TV digital network to host and distribute web-based video content.

2019 – We launch BeautyCE Institute, providing continuing education for barbers and cosmetologists in Ohio. Subsequent years we added Nevada, Georgia and North Dakota.*

2020 – The pandemic pushed digital transformation into overdrive. Virtual events, remote work, and digital storefronts became essential.

2021 – A big year! We launch The Business Chop Podcast, giving a platform to entrepreneurs and subject-matter experts. We open AltogetherLearning.Academy, a virtual learning center focused on marketing, business and tech.

2022 – AI-powered content, personalization, and short-form video took over the feed.

2024 – AI is now fully integrated into branding and customer engagement. Data, personalization, and AI-driven content are redefining the customer experience, while virtual platforms, online learning, and immersive technologies continue to shape the future of marketing strategy.

2024 – We produced the Elevating the U in Entrepreneur Virtual Business Summit, empowering wise women in business.

2024 – We Earned a Coaching Certification.

Three Timeless Tips from 18 Years in the Digital Game

1. Consistency beats virality. It’s not about going big once — it’s about showing up with value again and again.
2. Let strategy lead, not trends. Tools change, but clarity and connection never go out of style.
3. Relationships matter more than algorithms. Whether it’s a client, vendor, or supporter — nurture your network.

Thank You

To our clients, vendors, partners, and well-wishers: thank you for walking this journey with us. Your trust fuels our innovation. Your feedback sharpens our creativity. And your support keeps us altogether moving forward.

What’s Next?

Keep an on us. Change is in the air. As we step into the future, we’re embracing smarter tools, deeper storytelling, and more meaningful connections. From AI-powered marketing to expanded learning programs, to building tools and opportunities, we’re committed to helping entrepreneurs; especially wise women leaders — elevate their brand and own their story.

Genetic Insights Fuel Personalized Wellness Strategies for Entrepreneurs with Dr Tamar Lawful

The DNA of Self-Care: A Roadmap for Busy Professionals to Prioritize Well-Being

Episode Highlights

As entrepreneurs, we often find ourselves caught in a whirlwind of responsibilities, juggling multiple tasks and wearing various hats. In our pursuit of success, we sometimes neglect the most crucial aspect of our lives – our health. I recently had the pleasure of speaking with Dr. Tamar Lawful, a distinguished pharmacist and CEO of Life Balance Incorporated, who shared invaluable insights on the importance of self-care and holistic health for busy professionals.

The Wake-Up Call: Recognizing the Need for Change

Dr. Lawful's journey towards advocating for self-care and holistic health began with a personal realization. After 15 years as a hospital pharmacist, she noticed a troubling pattern: patients were returning with the same health issues, often in worse condition. This observation led her to question the effectiveness of traditional medical approaches and sparked her interest in exploring alternative methods to improve health outcomes.

The DNA Strategy: A Personalized Approach to Health

1. Detox Your Mind
The first step involves clearing your mind of preconceived notions about health and nutrition. With the abundance of information available online, it's easy to get overwhelmed or misled. Dr. Lawful emphasizes the importance of starting fresh and being open to new, personalized approaches to health.

2. Nourish Your Body

Once you've cleared your mind, it's time to focus on nourishing your body. This phase involves incorporating healthy foods, regular exercise, and stress management techniques into your daily routine. The key is to make choices that align with your body's unique needs.

3. Align Your Actions

The final phase is about creating alignment between your health goals and your daily actions. It's not enough to simply set goals; you must take consistent steps towards achieving them. This might involve making lifestyle changes, adjusting your schedule, or prioritizing self-care activities.

Making Time for Self-Care in a Busy Schedule

As entrepreneurs, finding time for self-care can seem like an impossible task. However, Dr. Lawful emphasizes that self-care doesn't have to be time-consuming or elaborate. It can be as simple as taking a shower at the beginning of the day or engaging in a brief meditation session.

The key is to identify what self-care means for you personally and make it a non-negotiable part of your daily routine. Remember, self-care isn't a luxury – it's a necessity for maintaining your health, productivity, and overall well-being.

Taking the First Step Towards Better Health

If you're intrigued by the idea of a more personalized approach to health but unsure where to start, Dr. Lawful recommends beginning with a simple conversation. By discussing your health goals and challenges, you can gain valuable insights and actionable tips to improve your well-being.

As entrepreneurs, we often prioritize our businesses over our health. However, it's crucial to remember that our health is our true wealth. By investing in our well-being, we're not only improving our quality of life but also enhancing our ability to succeed in our professional endeavors.

So, I challenge you to take a moment today to reflect on your self-care practices. Are you giving your health the attention it deserves? If not, perhaps it's time to consider a more personalized, holistic approach to your well-being. After all, a healthier you means a more successful, balanced, and fulfilled entrepreneur.
