"...to wait for his Son from heaven..."
-1 Thessalonians 1:10
It is apparent in 2021 that political correctness has become the law of the land. What many once viewed as evil is pridefully flaunted before all as the promotion of democracy. From the media to major corporations, the new norm is continually thrust before us. How many times have we said with Isaiah, “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil; who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness…” We find ourselves grieving over the leaders of our nation as the Lord did over those who led Israel. How tragic some of the most powerful and influential will someday, still in their sin, stand before a holy God. Our culture has drastically changed, but the wages of sin remain the same. We may be saddened for our country and those who reject our Savior, but we are not disheartened. We consider it all joy when we are facing various trials, and we are facing them. There is great joy in knowing the love of God, forgiveness of sin and life eternal that no person or human agency can take away. And the one who will allow no one to snatch us out of his hand is coming again. We will be waiting for him! Be Encouraged!
