"Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.”
-1 Corinthians 16:13
It should not surprise you:
▪ that the U. S. Is moving away from its longtime support of Israel. See Zechariah 14:2, 3.
▪ that difficult times are being fulfilled right before our eyes. See 2 Timothy 3:2-7, 13.
▪ that the church has less and less influence on the world and is increasingly lukewarm. See Revelation 3:14-22.

You cannot stop the fulfillment of biblical prophecy, but you can stand firm in the midst of it. You do not need to approve or take part in the anti-Semitic movement or the hesitancy to stand behind Israel that we see in high places. It may be difficult times, but by the grace of God and the power of the Holy Spirit, you can live a godly life until the end. You can avoid making the church simply a place of comfort for like-minded believers, but you can make it a place of conviction by the Word and the Spirit for a lost and dying world. Be encouraged!
