"These things I have written to you concerning those who are trying to deceive you."

-1 John 2:26

Many Americans believe in evolution, catastrophic manmade global warming and that some forms of perversion should be the norm. It is no wonder the Scripture presents deception as the greatest danger of the end times. When the disciples asked the Lord, “What will be the sign of your coming,” He replied, "See to it no one deceives you." Concerning perversion, Paul wrote, "Do not be deceived…." Even if man-made climate change is true, when the world experiences its greatest climate change which includes: one-third of the earth and trees burned up, a third of the sea turned to blood, a third of all fresh water turned to wormwood and a third of the sun, moon and stars smitten, it will be in the midst of great deception. At that time, “the man of sin” will come “with all the deception of wickedness” and Satan “deceives the whole world." Along with that, "in the last days …evil men and imposters will proceed from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived” To read, know, believe and obey the Scriptures is our needed defense against deception. As believers, "we are protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time." We are protected by the One who spoke the world into existence, is sovereign over the earth, and whose holy standard has not changed. Be encouraged!
