"Love never fails... "

-1 Corinthians 13: 8

God is love. Love never fails. Therefore, God never fails. We live in a time when love is often misapplied. Protesters who protest that which is in opposition to them often carry signs of "Just love." Others use the idea that God loves them as an excuse for any sin, as if God just winks at such behavior. Have those who continually flaunt their sin actually experienced the love of God? The most well-known verse of the Bible, John 3:16, answers four questions concerning what is true about God's love. How does He feel about me? He loves me. How has He shown His love for me? He sent His son to die for my sin. What does He want me to do? To respond to His love by believing in Christ alone to take away my sin. How will God respond? In His love, He will give me a life that will never end because, from that point on, nothing can separate me from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. That is the true meaning and the true experience of the love of God. Love never fails. God never fails. Be encouraged!
