"I can do all things through Him who strengthens me..."
-Philippians 4:13
The above verse is the favorite of many who name the Name of Christ. But is it actually true in our lives? For example, we are to forgive our enemies, not be ashamed of Christ among sinners, suffer for His sake and trust the sovereignty of God in all things. Can we do that? The answer is yes, but only by the power of God as Christ lives out His life in ours by faith. Paul wrote, "…it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me…." Only then can we be "strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might…" to live out Philippians 4:13 serving God by forgiving, witnessing, suffering and trusting Him in all things. We do that “by the strength which God supplies; so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belongs the glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.” “Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of His might.” And be encouraged!
