"He who believes in Him is not judged..."
-John 3:18
When someone places their faith in Christ, they are no longer judged or condemned by God. When I was saved, I knew I was at peace with God, but I could not explain it. In salvation, the Bible came alive, and when I got to Romans 5, the explanation was there. It was not difficult to understand as a new believer. When I placed my faith in Christ, God justified me, although I was a sinner and the very enemy of God. He pardoned, acquitted, cleared me of all guilt, and no longer saw me as a sinner but reckoned me perfectly righteous in His sight. This clearly demonstrated both the power of the gospel and the amazing grace and mercy of God. As I continued to read the Bible, it would later cause me to say with Micah the prophet, "Who is a God like Thee, who pardons iniquity... “ When the Scripture says, “he is not judged” it is not referring to the day of judgment, but it means for the one who comes to faith in Christ, he is not condemned right now. Be encouraged!
