"He who is of God hears the words of God; for this reason you do not hear them, because you are not of God."
-John 8:47
How sad it is to see someone who is not willing to listen and receive the Word of God. In the past few years, I have had the privilege to proclaim Christ to many people, and yet most reject it. We know the "natural man (unsaved) does not accept the things of the Spirit of God; for they are foolishness to him." We also know "if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, in whose case the god of this world (Satan) has blinded the minds of the unbelieving." You, too, need to "receive the word implanted, which is able to save your souls." Only then can you say, "you have been born again not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and abiding word of God." When one becomes a believer, the Bible comes alive. It teaches, reproves, corrects, trains and equips you. Has the Bible come alive to you? Do you read it, listen to it, receive it, and believe it? If so, it is one of the strongest evidences that you are of God. Be encouraged!
