June 30- "Let's 'Tie' One On"- taught by Dava Carrell. This class utilizes neckties in a unique way. Class fee is $30, which will be donated to the Trinity Lutheran Church HVAC fund. Dava will provide the pattern, you provide the neckties and background fabric. Class participants can trade ties for more variety in their quilt. Dava also has a selection of ties that can be utilized. Spots are still available so call or come by soon to sign up!

Our first ever Semi-Annual Clearance sale continues until July 7. Clearance fabric began at $5 per yard and each week on Tuesday the price has decreased $1 per yard. So by July 3, clearance fabric will be only $1 per yard - if there is any left! This sale is limited to clearance fabric plus a few other assorted items. Minimum cut is 1 yard. Sale ends at the close of business on July 7. Come early and check back often!!

Row by Row Continues

Start planning your travels! Row by Row started on June 21 and continues until September 4. This year's theme is "Sew Musical". Here in Winfield we have a music experience every September when the Walnut Valley Festival takes place so we have reflected that in our guitar row (pictured below). Collect row kits from at least 8 shops. Be the first to bring your completed quilt (quilted, bound, and labeled) to a participating shop and receive a prize of 25 fat quarters! There's an extra prize if your quilt contains our row! Check it all out here.

Forty Fabulous Years is Eleanor's latest book. It details her 40 years in the quilting industry. Patterns and directions for 15 different blocks are given along with ideas for setting these blocks into quilts of various sizes. With many beautiful pictures and great cutting and piecing diagrams, this book promises to be one of your new favorites! It is available here at the shop for you to add to your collection.
