...who can find a trustworthy man?”

In my many trips to Russia, I learned first-hand that believers under Communism and now Putinism could not trust the government, the media or the KGB (now FSB ). It is always that way under Marxism/Socialism. Sadly, as America continues to move toward a socialistic mindset, we are experiencing the same. Trust in the government, the media, the FBI and the CDC has considerably diminished. But now is not the time to panic or look for a new frontier. JC Ryle writes, “A true Christian should never be greatly moved or disquieted by the conduct of the rulers of the earth.” The reason is that we have a God not swayed by ideology, activism or political persuasion. A God who is far above the governmental, economic, social, medical or climate experts of today. A God who doesn't have to connive, corrupt or compromise to gain an advantage because the advantage always belongs to Him. It may be hard to find a trustworthy man, but in Christ, we have a trustworthy God. Therefore, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Be encouraged!
