"And God created man in His own image..."

It is natural for people to become attached to their pets, but have we gone too far? With the start of school, one television station aired tips on how to comfort your pets, claiming they suffer emotionally when kids go back to school. Some pet owners paid $200,000 each, to have their pets kept in cryopreservation with the hope that someday they can be brought back to life. Yet, in America every day, thousands of unborn children who are created in the image of God are denied the opportunity of life. Something is terribly wrong with this picture. The evolutionary mindset of placing animals above human life prevails across much of the American landscape. However, it is clear in Scripture that ONLY MANKIND is created in the image of God, was commissioned to rule over every living creature and has the capacity for a spiritual relationship with Him. But, because all have sinned, this relationship has been completely broken. Our Lord came and died on the cross in order that this relationship may be fully restored through faith in Jesus Christ. Isn’t it amazing that the living God who created all things and upholds all things by the word of His power desires to have a personal relationship with you? Be encouraged!
