"And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us..."

- John 1:14

Yes, God became a man! And as the perfect Son of God, He was the only One ever who could die for our sins. The union of God and man in one person remains one of the great mysteries of Christianity. No one can fully explain it. Beginning in the early church, trying to explain the unexplainable brought much heresy and division. The same has continued in every generation when human wisdom attempts to trump the wisdom of God. But this we can fully know, that God became a man to die for our sins. “He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. “ From the beginning, the church has not had “many wise according to the flesh” but a multitude who have come to Him in childlike faith followed by a simple and pure devotion to Jesus Christ. So be encouraged. Leave the mysteries of God with God and live each day with a simple trust and reliance upon Him. Be encouraged!
