"...And there he squandered his estate with loose living. "

- Luke 15:13

We all know the prodigal son left his father’s house, misused all that his father had provided him and was fully enticed by a life of sin. Many who name Christ as their Savior misuse what is freely available to them by God the Father and live like the world. Moody writes, “The prodigal might have said his father was the richest man in Judea, but no one would have believed him. The testimony of many Christians is not accepted by the world because of their spiritual poverty… That is, if I live contrary to the life of a Christian, do not take me for a Christian.” Have you departed from the presence, power and blessing of your heavenly Father? Like the prodigal, will you become fed up with the passing pleasure of sin? Then turn back to your heavenly Father for He awaits to forgive you and restore you. And then, to the glory of the Father, you will become believable to a world that wallows in its sin. Be encouraged!
