Life is just a vapor, and it will not be long until we will be home with our Lord. As a believer, our citizenship is already in heaven. In a little while, we will go from the temptations of Satan to complete victory in Christ, from weakness and sickness to perfect strength and health, from physical hunger to the supper of the Lamb, from the bondage of men to the liberty of the Lord, from the presence of sinners to the presence of saints, from the sorrow of the world to the comfort of the Savior, from hardship and toil to eternal peace and rest, from the rejection of men to the welcome of the Father’s house and from this present evil age into the presence of the Holy One of God. The Psalmist wrote, “In Thy presence is fullness of joy; In Thy right hand there are pleasures forever.” Be encouraged!
