In Aryg-Bazhi, of the Russian Federation, after explaining to the students and teachers what the Bible is and its basic message to mankind, some teachers wanted to know if the present world would be destroyed. My answer was yes, but that God will create a new heaven and new earth where righteousness dwells. They responded by saying they believed the advanced nations would be destroyed but not the Republic of Tuva. My response was, "No, it will happen here." People have different reasons for believing they will escape the judgment of God, but He has provided only one way, and that is through faith in Jesus Christ. We know, as believers, “God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Be encouraged!
