"The Scripture cannot be broken.”

-John 10:35

The Bible is not just another book. It is God's book. In John 10:35, Jesus was affirming the Scripture's inspiration and inerrancy. The term "broken" means that Scripture cannot be emptied of its force by being shown to be erroneous. In Scripture, there are many challenges both to understand and explain. However, we can trust our life and soul to every book, chapter, verse, and word of the Bible. Although there are always those who attack the Word of God, not one word of it can be annulled. The Psalmist wrote, "Forever, O Lord, Thy word is settled in heaven." Jesus said every jot (smallest) and tittle (stroke) will be fulfilled. Join with the Psalmist, who wrote, "I rejoice at Thy word, as one who finds great spoil." Be encouraged!
