"...love is kind..."

-1 Corinthians 13:4

God is love. Love is kind. Therefore, God is kind. And “when the kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared, He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy…." Everyone who has repented of their unbelief and turned and believed upon the Lord Jesus Christ has experienced this kindness. For it is written… “knowing the kindness of God leads you to repentance…." "The Lord is kind in all His deeds." The Scripture tells us that even "He Himself is kind to ungrateful and evil men” … He certainly was to us when He saved us when we were among the ungodly and even the enemies of God. So how are we to live? We are to “be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.” We know “He has raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places, in Christ Jesus, in order, that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.” God is kind. God has been kind to you in the past. God is kind to you presently. God will be kind to you for all eternity. Be encouraged!
