Welcome June!

We do Love our "Loyal Local" customers and Thank You for supporting all the downtown Winfield businesses through these crazy times. All the phone calls, curbside orders, web and gift card purchases are appreciated more than you will ever know. Please continue to Shop Local and support small business that is so vital to our community.

New fabric keeps arriving and our staff is madly stitching samples to inspire you. Here are a few new items:

This American flag quilt could be ready for your 4th of July activities. It starts with the printed panel and add borders, stitches together quickly and finishes at 68"x 60." The kit is available for $63.99.

Fabrics for "guy" quilts are sometimes challenging to find. This Lake Views quilt starts with a layer cake of fishing fabrics in great greens, browns and blues. Free pattern with purchase of the Layer cake and you decide if you want to add borders.

quilters trek

Quilters Trek is the former Row by Row Experience with a new twist. You may still request the free pattern at each participating shop you visit. Each state has collectable 2 1/2" fabric tokens that are unique to their area and will be included in each block kit. The theme this year is "True Blue" so shops have designed four 9" blocks with that in mind. We combined our blocks in a square for a Barn Quilt look. The kit sells for $9.99 beginning June 22 when the Trek starts. To win a bundle of fat quarters a participant submits a finished quilt (quilted, bound and labeled) including at least 32 blocks from 8 shops. Two prizes are offered so you don't even have to be the first. Check out the new Facebook pages for the event. Kansas is included in the "Quilters Trek Bow Tie Travelers."

It's time to begin planning for the personal Christmas gifts for family and friends. To help with your inspiration we are hosting a "Halfway to Christmas" event on June 24th and 25th. The new Christmas fabrics that have arrived and shop samples will be featured. Our gift to you will be a "pick your discount" tag, that will apply to your entire purchase. More ideas are still brewing so come see! Remember we are open 'til 7pm on Thursdays.

Mark your calendar for July 14th. We will be hosting a Virtual Accuquilt Event from 9-11am and it's FREE. Accuquilt educator Pam Heller will be teaching about the Block on Board (BOB) dies that allow you to cut a whole quilt block with one cut. Everyone is welcome whether you have an Accuquilt cutter or not. Watch for your invitation coming soon.
