"Faithful is He Who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass."

-1 Thessalonians 5:24

With all that is going on in the church and the world today, these must be encouraging words. God not only calls the believer, but He is sufficient for every need of the believer. "He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus". Salvation is the work of God from beginning to end. We are "a people for God's own possession." And if God possesses a person, He continues to work in that person until his salvation is fully realized in the glorious day of redemption.

"Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father,
There is no shadow of turning with Thee;
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not;
As Thou hast been Thou for ever wilt be
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord unto me!"

Be encouraged!
