"He who is not with Me is against Me; and he who does not gather with Me scatters."

-Matthew 12:30

It is impossible to live a life of neutrality with God, although there are many who like to ride the fence. They see themselves not as bad as others yet fail to live by the faith and practice set forth by our Lord. They do not boldly speak out for Christ, yet they do not openly oppose Him. This is not a good position to be in. Some, to avoid the risk of ridicule or offense, never seem to have the boldness or burden to share Christ. Others seem to court trouble by thrusting their faith upon everyone they meet, not being sensitive to place, time or circumstances. However, for the most part, it is the ones who fill the pews and positions of authority in the church who are the silent ones. When it comes to the outside world, few seem to think that their silence about Christ when away from the church or their Christian friends is detrimental to the cause of Christ. “And how shall they believe in Him whom they have not heard?” Be encouraged! “Conduct yourselves with wisdom toward outsiders, making the most of the opportunity.”
