"The Church in Laodicea... you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My mouth."

- Revelation 3:14-22

It is sad that just 60 years after the Resurrection, we already have a church made up of nominal Christians. There are four evidences these people are not saved: vs 16–to be excluded from His presence, vs 17–not aware of their sin, vs 18–have not received what the Lord offered and vs 20–an invitation into their lives. There is no middle ground with Christ. If one cannot demonstrate by his life he loves the Lord having trusted Him as Savior (hot), it would be better to openly reject Him (cold) than pretend to be saved. Make sure you have trusted the Lord alone for salvation and that you belong to Him, demonstrated by your life. If so, you can rest assured He says to you, “the one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast out, and “I will never leave you nor will I ever forsake you.” Be encouraged!
