"And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of the testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God..."

-Revelation 20: 4

When the tribulation, a time like never before, comes upon this world, multitudes will lose their lives because they turn in faith to Jesus Christ. We are not, nor will be, in the tribulation, but even now, we should have a clear testimony that we belong to Christ. When asked if we are a Christian, there should be no pause. We are not to be ashamed of the gospel but have a willingness to share Christ no matter the cost. The tribulation Saints will also face martyrdom because they believed and obeyed the word of God. Right now, we should identify with the Psalmist when he wrote, “I have restrained my feet from every evil way, that I may keep Thy word… How sweet are thy words to my taste! Yes, sweeter than honey to my mouth!” Even though difficult times like never before will come upon mankind in the future, if Christ is truly our Savior and if we believe and obey the word of God, we will be blessed now and for all eternity. Be encouraged!
