"And I give eternal life to them and they shall never perish; and no one shall snatch them out of My hand."
-John 10:28
When someone trusts the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior, he immediately becomes part of the church, the mystical body of Christ. He has now entered a personal relationship with the Lord from which nothing can separate him. Like the thief on the cross, he may not have the opportunity to be part of the visible church, be baptized or know the fellowship of other believers. However, he is part of the true church, baptized by the Holy Spirit and has fellowship with the One who saved him. Satan may rise up against him, the world may persecute him and the visible church may reject him. However, all the powers of darkness, the resentment of the secular culture and the self-righteous who willfully condemn can never touch his permanent and eternal relationship with his great God and Savior. Be encouraged!
