"...for when I am weak, then I am strong."

-2 Corinthians 12:10

Paul said to the Corinthians, “I was with you in weakness and in fear and in much trembling.” I have yet to share the gospel without feeling very inadequate and weak. I have even been told by those to whom I was witnessing that Christianity is for the weak. Many believe that religion is a crutch for the weak. Those who reject God will always elevate their own thinking. The Christian who finds hope, peace, strength, and power by trusting in his Lord and Savior will be seen by the world as weak. In reality, the proclamation of the gospel by believers and the reception of it by unbelievers bring together the weakness of man and the power of God. Those who remain self-sufficient will reject the gospel because “the word of the cross is to those who are perishing foolishness.” As for us who desire to make Him known, we are content to be “fools for Christ’s sake.” Be encouraged!
