Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him...

What will get the attention of the world like no other event? Will it be the coming elections, the crash of the stock market or the financial collapse of Europe? Will it be global warming, World War III or Armageddon? The answer is no. Nor will it be anything else we can dream up in our minds. There is coming one event that will get the attention of everyone alive on earth without exception. It will happen so fast that it will be just as the lightning comes from the east and flashes even to the west. All will see Him and all will mourn at His coming, because He comes to judge them according to their sins. The Scripture provides a grim preview of what lies ahead for those who reject the love, grace, forgiveness, salvation and life eternal that the Lord has promised to those who receive Him. Paul wrote, Therefore knowing the terror of the Lord we persuade men. Knowing about the great and terrible day of the Lord, may we all be encouraged to persuade men.
