"In my Father’s house are many dwelling places... for I go to prepare a place for you."

- John 14:2

We do not have to get overly concerned about our earthly home because we have a much better one reserved for us in heaven. Because of “His great mercy” we have a “living hope” and will “obtain an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you.” No wonder the believer is commanded to set his “mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth.“ It was said that when Pastor John Fletcher was about to die in 1785, after a short illness, a friend came to visit him and afterwards said,” I went to see a man that had one foot in the grave, but I found a man that had one foot in heaven.” And so it is with all who have been “born again to a living hope” for our citizenship is already in heaven. Be encouraged!
