"This Jesus God raised up again..."

- Acts 2:32

Satan has always inspired men to “speak out against the Most High and wear down the saints” and will do so even more prior to the coming of Christ. One of the ways Satan wears down the saints is to continually confront them with bad news. It becomes wearisome to hear on a regular basis the bad that takes place in our communities, country, the world and even the in the church. In light of all of this, we must always look to God for the good news. And the good news is the gospel of Jesus Christ – His death, burial and resurrection. This good news overshadows all of the bad news that Satan has to offer. It is our buffer for all of the stress of what many now call perilous times and encroaching darkness. When the dark clouds of spiritual warfare begin to overwhelm you and when the bad outweighs the good, remember the gospel. Remember that the good news of the gospel is that the Lord conquered sin, death and the devil for you. And the proof of it all, in the words of an angel was, “He has risen… He has risen from the dead… Be encouraged!
