"Give thanks to the Lord, call upon his name. Make known his deeds among the people."

-Isaiah 12:4

What great deeds God has done for you! Is it even possible to write them all down? Salvation, forgiveness and eternal life, just to mention a few. He formed you in your mother's womb. He gave you life and then new life in Christ Jesus. Every step that you take and every breath that you breathe is according to His providence and care. Peace and purpose in this crazy world are all by His grace. All that you have both physically and spiritually comes from His hand. At Pentecost, when the church was born, the disciples, filled with the Holy Spirit, were speaking the mighty deeds of God. Therefore, be thankful and declare to others what God has done for you. Paul did that very thing when he penned these words to the Corinthians: “For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.” What a mighty deed! Be encouraged and make it known among your people.
