"For I'm not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes..."
-Romans 1:16
Last week we were on the Reservation for an evangelistic outreach at the Navajo Rodeo and July 4th Celebration. Over this four-day event, all of those representing Cornerstone Bible Church, including teens, proved they were “not ashamed of the gospel.” There are still those involved “in the furtherance of the gospel.” The gospel is still “the power of God unto salvation.” The gospel is still for "whoever will." The gospel is still “of first importance... that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.” The gospel is still “an eternal gospel to preach to those who live on the earth, and to every nation and tribe and tongue and people....” Jesus came “to seek and to save that which was lost” and is still doing so through those who “make known” the gospel. Be encouraged!
