"...the Lord is near."

We have been told for some time that climate change will result in a catastrophic event that could bring the world to an end. More recently, the "experts" have said that artificial intelligence can potentially destroy the human race. Therefore, we must turn to the Bible to rise above the disillusionment and discouragement of so-called human wisdom. Biblically, the next major event on the horizon is the rapture of every true believer from earth to heaven. It is near, meaning it could happen at any time without further warning. We refer to it as our blessed hope because in a moment and a twinkling of an eye, we will see our Lord face to face, be like Him, and with Him for all eternity. After the Great Tribulation that follows, He will return to the earth that still exists, and every eye will see Him because humanity still exists. And we have the blessed assurance that "when Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory." We are so blessed right now that we can trust the Scriptures and, therefore, our Lord with the future of the world, the future of mankind, and our future. Be encouraged!
