"Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!"

-2 Corinthians 9: 15

Although we continue to hear about unprecedented times, illness, suffering, and death have never been strangers in this world. When Christ came into this world, He was an eyewitness to death threatening ills. He saw ailments of every kind. He encountered those with bodily suffering. None was too loathsome or too frightful for Him. He did not distance Himself but said, “Come unto Me.” He saw that no one had the solution or means to meet all their needs. They were like sheep without a Shepherd, but he became the First of the first responders. There was a shortage of food, but He would feed them. When there was no medical care, He was their great physician. When no one would get near the lepers, He would touch and heal them. He looked upon the populace and saw them hopeless, helpless, dying, yet unfit to die. He would sacrifice His own body and life for them. He would die for them, conquer death for them, and make them fit to die. The incomparable Christ! He is our Lord and Savior. “Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!” Be encouraged!
