"What man can live and not see death? Can he deliver his soul from the power of Sheol?"

- Psalm 89:48

The use of stem cells have been the promising new frontier of science hoping to heal everything from wrinkles, to blindness, to spinal cord injuries. So far, there has been both success and tragedy. More recently, it is reported that a biotech company has a goal of resurrecting people from the dead. Eternal life technologies plan to use stem cells to stimulate regrowth in clinically dead people. Although it is mainly theoretical at this time, it is bound to create a great deal of theological debate. As believers, we can be thankful that technological advances have improved the quality and longevity of life. Yet, we do not in any way depend upon such to conquer death, to be literally resurrected from the grave and to have life eternal. God has already provided this to all who place their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. “For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him, may have eternal life; and I Myself will raise him up on the last day.” Be encouraged!
