"He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, From his innermost being shall flow rivers of living water."
- John 7:38
When a person comes to Christ, he receives the Holy Spirit Who brings purpose, peace, hope and comfort into his life and soul. But the intention of the Lord, confirmed in Scripture, is not to be a self- contained believer, but to be a fountain of blessing to others. Luther paraphrased this verse to say that we who are refreshed and delivered shall refresh, comfort and strengthen the lives of others. To whom can you minister today? "So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all men, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith." Be encouraged! May the Christ, Who indwells you by the Spirit, flow out of your life into the lives of others.
"Make me a blessing, O Savior, I pray
Make me a blessing to someone today"
