"But if any of you lacks wisdom..."
- James 1:5
Christianity has always had its extremes, and today is no exception. On the one hand, we have those who are woefully ignorant of biblical truth. On the other, there are those who are highly knowledgeable of Scripture. However, wisdom means far more than just knowing. Wisdom not only knows the truth, it knows what to do with it. Knowledge can be passive, but wisdom acts. Jesus said, “Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine, and acts on them, may be compared to a wise man...” The action of this “wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy”. This wisdom can be yours! For “if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God... and it will be given him”. Be encouraged!
