“For I delivered to you as of first importance...”

-1 Corinthians 15:3

One Easter Sunday, I had the privilege of preaching in the Church of Susch in Central Siberia. My text was 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, on the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Although I gave no invitation, two people expressed their desire to receive Christ as their Savior at the end of the message. At a time when the church is full of gimmicks and numerous appeals to the flesh, it was encouraging to experience firsthand that the gospel remains "the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes." No greater truth will mankind hear, know or believe than the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Count it both a blessing and privilege that the Lord has called you to know, believe and proclaim the most important truth of human history. Be encouraged!
