Throughout the history of Washington Marketing Group, we have supported multiple first responder organizations and campaigns including Tunnel to Towers Foundation, National Police Association and National Firefighters Association.

Unfortunately violence appears to be on the rise in our nation, as we have seen in major cities like Los Angeles and New York City, following decades of unresolved issues in urban centers like Chicago, and growing with aggressive movements since the 2020 "summer of love", widespread resurgence of threats since October 7 2023 mobilizing through college campuses, and now in the Spring/Summer of 2025, including this past week especially.

There has never been a more important time to back the blue, support law enforcement, and bring public safety back to our communities.

One important way to get involved is at the ballot box. Below is a list of Republican and Independent candidates for County Sheriff nationwide in 2025. Some of the seats are safe conservative wins - others are highly contested by Democrats, whether challengers or incumbents.

Liberal campaigns against Conservative Sheriffs are consistent and aggressive, targeting key issues including Sheriff partnerships with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and federal law enforcement through the 287g Program, and overall sanctuary city, county, and state policies that harbor illegal immigrants in local communities. The Democrat rallying cry is often the same - get rid of the Sheriffs who are part of the 287g Program - get rid of Sheriff partnerships with ICE.

It is well beyond time for Republicans to stand steadfast in support of local law enforcement, and defend Sheriff's rights to partner with ICE, especially at a time when Tom Homan's leadership in the White House as Executive Associate Director of Enforcement and Removal Operations (aka, "Border Czar") has been incredibly compelling, effective, and supportive of law enforcement nationwide.
