"...being darkened in their understanding, excluded from the life of God..."

The Bible describes the natural man as a child of wrath, dead in his sins, without Christ, a stranger of the covenants and promises, having no hope and without God in this world. This is exactly why God sent His Son into this dark and doomed world. “But now in Christ Jesus you who formerly were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.” “For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, in order that He might bring us to God…” But God, “even when we were dead in our transgressions… made us alive together with Christ.” With faith in Christ we have gone from being children of wrath to become the children of God. We have gone from being dead in our sins to having life eternal. We have gone from the doom and gloom of no hope in this world to the joy and peace of knowing Him. How can we thank the Lord and praise Him enough for His love and mercy and grace? Be encouraged!
