"For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,' and will miss lead many."
-Matthew 24:5
The Bible is clear that deception becomes a more significant danger as we approach the coming of Christ. In the context of the second coming, Jesus said, "See to it that no one misleads you… Then if anyone says to you, ‘Behold, here is the Christ,’ or ‘There He is,' do not believe him.” Not everyone is taking His advice. It is reported that thousands are turning to an artificial intelligence (AI) Jesus, called “ask-jesus," seeking advice and guidance. A Berlin-based tech collective is responsible for developing a chatbot that claims to be Jesus. I am sure Satan will use this extensively: "who deceives the whole world" and raises up a false Messiah in the end times. Perhaps there has been no greater urgency in our lifetime than now to be “fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith." That is the biblical Jesus, the real Jesus Who is “the way, and the truth and the life.” The one “WHO COMMITTED NO SIN, NOR WAS ANY DECEIT FOUND IN HIS MOUTH.” No true child of God needs AI, for in our Jesus “are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge." Be encouraged!
