Israel is at war again, which is no surprise to the student of the Bible. Israel has been a battlefield from the very first day they became a nation again in 1948. The opposition to Israel's right to exist in the promised land goes far beyond the current Israel - Hamas conflict. Human governments think they can settle the conflict through peace accords, but it has never happened, nor will it. The Islamic nations believe they can bring peace to what they call Palestine by eliminating Israel as a nation and the Jewish people. It's not going to happen. The Bible tells us that an even greater war is yet to come involving Jerusalem and the enemies of the Jews. So, when will peace come? The conflict is only going to intensify until the Prince of Peace comes. He will destroy the enemies of Israel and judge the nations who worked against them. He will put an end to hate and war. Then, "there will be no end to the increase of His government or peace." Regardless of our personal conflicts and all the conflicts around the world as believers, we know where to turn to find peace. "Now may the Lord of peace Himself continually grant you peace in every circumstance. The Lord be with you all!" Be encouraged!
