“...The Most High God is ruler over the realm of mankind, and that He sets over it whomever He wishes.”

-Daniel 5:21

I am writing this the day before the election, and you are receiving it the day after. Christians have been praying the results will be a catalyst to move America back to God. It may not happen, but whatever happens, should not discourage us. By faith, we must accept both the good and bad, as revealed in Scripture. God has foretold "that in the last days difficult times will come" and "evil men and impostors will proceed from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived." No doubt there is evil and deceit, which only appear to be getting worse, both in the secular and religious world. It is quite evident in the high places of our government, our once trustworthy institutions, the media and even in our churches. We do not like it. It can dishearten us, but we must accept the fact that the God who is sovereign over the "realm of mankind" said it would happen. Actually, it should strengthen our faith when we see so many things unfold, as foretold in Scripture. We read in Isaiah, "Therefore I declared them to you long ago, before they took place I proclaimed them to you...” We may not like all that lies ahead in the future, but we can have comfort and peace knowing the future belongs to the Most High God. Be encouraged!
