Remember also your Creator...
- Ecclesiastes 12:1
In my recent travels, I have seen snow still clinging to mountain peaks, the lush green of the hills and valleys from Spring rains and the desert in full bloom. Yet, every day there is a reminder that the earth is even now under the curse because of sin. Yesterday, in a brief walk in the high desert, I could not escape the thorns and thistles. However, as believers, we know the best is yet to come. We look forward to the coming of Christ when “the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption…” But presently, we look up at the sky at night and know that “the heavens are telling the glory of God: and their expanse is declaring the work of His hands.” And as new creations in Christ, we remember our Creator, for we are the works of His hands through redemption in Christ our Savior. Be encouraged!
